Hand Crafted Leather Tortoise, Miniature

This tortoise makes an unusual paperweight!

It is made from full grain cowhide leather. A tortoise shell pattern is machine stitched on to the top of the tortoise; inside there is a metal weight firmly surrounded with woodwool which is handworked to give the shape of the tortoise.
