The Oiseaux de Paradis design is a classic dating back to 1738, over time the design has been retouched to include joyful bursts of vivid colour. It is the association of a pattern and a classical form directly connected with the Faience's history. Gien presented it for the first time in 1865. Oiseaux de Paradis is a delicate composition, it's a poem, and it's a hymn to birds and flowers.
