This Taj silk is a very delicate lightweight silk, without so many slubs and imperfections. Its color is matt and monochrome since it is dyed, as opposed to the Dupion silk which has contrasting colors woven into it and creates a very different effect. It has a lovely translucency and creates beautiful lampshades.
