Care instructions: Remove all packaging and labels, wash the pan in hot, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Use medium or low heat for cooking, including frying and searing, and opt for Le Creuset silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic tools. Use an appropriately sized ring for even cooking and to prevent damage, avoiding dry cooking as the sand enamel surface is unsuitable. Vegetable, rapeseed, or sunflower oil is recommended, and always lift rather than drag the pan across glass surfaces to prevent damage. The pan is oven and grill safe up to 260°C, with a minimum 6.5cm distance required when grilling, and oven gloves should always be used when handling hot products. Allow the pan to cool before cleaning to avoid thermal shock, which can cause cracks or enamel loss. Handwashing is recommended, though the pan is freezer compatible and dishwasher safe.
