Each piece is fired only once, not the standard 3 times, at 1285°C. This extremely high heat makes the ceramics extremely robust, chip-resistant, and also able to retain their original strong colours. Care: Microwave and dishwasher safe. The plate can be preheated in a low oven (max 150°C) from room temperature. Over 200°C, the glaze starts to ‘open' and may let colours of cooked foods in, therefore making it impossible to remove. This problem only occurs when roasting with oil.
