Huxley Side Table, H79 x W46 x D46cm, Blue

A twist on traditional bobbin furniture, this fun statement side table features finials that pay homage to the circular forms of the original, while the legs feature blocks for a bold reinterpretation. While agonizing over the size of the square forms, the designer began stacking her son's building blocks for inspiration – Huxley has since lent his name to the distinctive piece. The mango wood frame is hand-finished in a rich red color and then rubbed for a tonal effect that reveals its depth, resulting in anything but a flat finish.
