With 30 acres of idyllic Hampshire downland and fifty-two thousand vines, 5 miles east of Winchester, it is the deep chalky subsoil that is key to the success of the award-winning Grange Estate sparkling wines.

The chalk imparts a steely minerality, finesse and precise structure to this “Classic” sparkling wine. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and  Pinot Noir, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks, and in old oak barrels. 33 months of lees-ageing in the bottle has contributed a beautiful complexity to this wine. The CLASSIC NV is pale gold in colour with lively bubbles, aromas recall lemons, red berries, baked apple and honeyed brioche. The palate is clean, full and generous, with satisfying layers of flavour, the finish being long, harmonious and crisp.

This award-winning English sparkling wine is perfect as an aperitif and also pairs well with fine, buttery slices of iberico ham, smoked fish, oysters

The latest release of the PINK NV is a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.  The Pinot Meunier from Burges Field is particularly characterful, giving layers of fragrant fruit to this award-winning wine. With a delicate pale pink colour, the aromas are subtle and lifted, recalling fresh strawberries and redcurrants, with an attractive biscuity note. The palate is clean and fresh. This is a precise, vivacious sparkling wine with good mid-palate intensity and a crisp, vibrant finish.

The PINK is lovely on its own, but it has the complexity to go well with food too.  Try it with: smoked fish, grilled chicken, risotto , oysters
