Wedding planning is such a rollercoaster. One minute you're swamped with Pinterest boards, and the next you're getting ready to walk down the aisle — which is why attending The Wedding Present Company Showcase was such a fantastic experience. It helped Nick and I get all of our ducks in a row. We’re thrilled to be partnering with them to curate our perfect wedding registry, and naturally, we were so excited when they invited us to their annual exhibit. It gave us that perfect reset we needed, plenty of inspiration, plus a little clarity on any remaining suppliers we required.
Emily & Nick
We’re proud (and slightly smug) to say we’re actually rather deep into the wedding planning of our big fat Greek wedding, with a lot of our plans locked down already. However, always on the lookout for improvements, this didn’t stop us from being incredibly inspired. From exploring the perfect wedding scents to sampling divine canapés, it gave us the wedding dopamine hit we needed. It was a pleasure to meet some of the top wedding suppliers in the country — they all totally blew us away!
It's moments like these that remind us how wedding planning can actually be fun — especially when you get to work with the best in the business. Allow us to take you through some of our favourite UK suppliers and the refreshing inspiration they brought to our milestone moment…

Sophie Tilley
The Go-To
The Fox in The Attic
There were too many incredible suppliers at the event to choose from. I couldn't include them all, but do want to start by naming a few that also impressed:
• Original Marquees, had the most stunning structures — perfect for a cosy countryside escape or Aperol Spritz moment.
• Sophie Tilley, the bridal makeup queen, who showcased her amazing skills on the night (however, I’ve entrusted my very good friend, Georgia Habboo, for my big day). For all things gifting,
• The Go-To are total pros, and no doubt my maids of honour will be seeking their assistance (if not, I certainly will for my gorgeous bridesmaid goodie bags).
• Sophie Breitmeyer creates wedding jewellery so stunning, it’s basically art — I’m still agonising over which sparkle to choose for the big day!

The Drunken Jockeys
"If there’s one thing our guests absolutely must remember (besides the love and laughter, of course), it’s the wedding drinks."
1. The Drunken Jockeys
Favourite wedding supplier for... cocktails
If there’s one thing our guests absolutely must remember (besides the love and laughter, of course), it’s the wedding drinks. From calculating how much alcohol you need for your wedding, to getting an expert advice on how to plan your wedding bar, trust us when we say, The Drunken Jockeys are the cocktail dream team we never knew we needed!
They make everything so personal. We chatted about weaving in Greek flavours — think honey, citrus, and herbs — it didn’t take much convincing to get them on board. Hands up if you’re dreaming of that Mykonos Limoncello Spritz that tastes like Summer in a cup? Or perhaps an Ouzo Martini concoction that practically whispers, “Yamas!”?
2. Nyetimber
Favourite wedding supplier for... wine & fizz
When we think of bubbles, we think of Nyetimber, aka the sparkling wine of dreams. We got to sample (multiple glasses) on the night, and every sip felt like a little celebration in itself — crisp, elegant, luxury. If we were getting married in England and didn’t have to endure import fees, we’d have this tipple on tap.
Pro Tip: In addition to enjoying a glass of Nyetimber during your private gift list appointment, The Wedding Present Company has partnered with Nyetimber to help you with all your wedding wine needs. Ask your Wedding List Advisor to find out more about this.

3. Caper & Berry
Favourite wedding supplier for... canapés
When it comes to impressing guests, food is also at the very top of our list, and Caper & Berry completely won us over with their delectable canapés. As avid foodies, we made sure to (shamelessly) catch the eyes of their servers on countless occasions. Their team shared ideas for weaving Greek influences into our wedding catering menu, suggesting canapés like mini souvlaki skewers and feta-stuffed filo parcels — salivating yet?

4. Lavender Green
Favourite wedding supplier for... wedding flowers
Despite Nick’s best efforts to convince me that flowers “aren’t that important,” meeting Lavender Green (conveniently) brought him around to my way of thinking — the right flowers bring a wedding to life! What would a fall wedding be without autumn wedding flowers?! After discussing their ideation process and browsing their adorning arrangements, we couldn’t be more excited to discover our perfect floral palette.

"deciding on the perfect scent? Let’s just say it’s turning out to be trickier than we thought! With so many gorgeous options, every inhale has us second-guessing. Do we go for something floral and romantic or bold and memorable? You’ll have to wait and see..."
5. Jo Malone
Favourite wedding supplier for... wedding scents
Nothing sets the tone for a wedding quite like a nostalgic scent. At the Jo Malone London booth, we explored their exquisite bridal collection, discovering fragrances that will forever remind us of our special day. The team helped us layer complementary scents, offering ideas for both personal perfumes and candles to create an unforgettable ambience. As self-confessed Jo Malone enthusiasts, choosing them for our wedding was easy. But deciding on the perfect scent? Let’s just say it’s turning out to be trickier than we thought! Pro Tip: The Wedding Present Company has partnered with Jo Malone to make your wedding scent appointment even more memorable. Ask your Wedding List Advisor about this exclusive offer during your private showroom appointment.

6. Belowby Hutcher
Favourite wedding supplier for... wedding planner services
Our wedding planner is signed, sealed, and delivered — an icon on the island of Folegandros, and we’re sure other neighbouring Greek islands too. However, we couldn’t help but admire how effortlessly Bellowby Hutcher brings wedding visions to life. A wedding planner isn’t just someone who ticks things off a to-do list. They’re the orchestrator who turns your Pinterest board into reality and the expert who knows how to make sure your day runs smoother than your first dance — or our first dance anyway!
Even if you’re a natural organiser (like me), having someone like Bellowby by your side will be sure to take the pressure off and let you focus on what really matters — celebrating love and making memories. If you’re still on the hunt for your wedding dream team, don’t underestimate the power of a planner. And if Bellowby is on your radar, consider yourself in the best of hands.
Poppy Carter Photography
7. Poppy Carter
Favourite wedding supplier for... wedding photography
Your wedding photos are something you'll treasure forever, and so there are some important questions to ask your wedding photographer. Meeting Poppy Carter was one of the highlights of our evening. Not only is she insanely talented, but she’s also the loveliest person to chat with — we could have talked to her all night!
As keen content creators ourselves, choosing our photographer was one of the very first things we ticked off our planning list. We were instantly drawn to Poppy’s work (and radiant aura). She has this amazing ability to capture those candid, emotional moments with such warmth and elegance —it's like storytelling through her lens. It's so important to find a photographer that makes you feel comfortable, so “clicking” like we did with Poppy and our chosen photographer is key.
8. Clementine Cusack
Favourite wedding supplier for... wedding videography
We’re getting married on a picture-perfect remote island in Greece, complete with a cliffside church overlooking the Aegean Sea. We needed this moment to be captured forever. Videography wasn’t just a “nice-to-have” for us; it was a must. In fact, we booked our videographer before we even thought about crafting the guest list (sorry, Uncle Steve, priorities).
When we saw Clementine Cusack’s work, it reiterated to us how imperative it is to capture our special day in motion. Clementine’s videos aren’t just recordings; they’re Oscar-worthy trailers — all the unforgettable moments, complete with the perfect synergy of drama and beauty. We’re already picturing our very own Mamma Mia moment…
The Mews Bridal
9. The Mews
Favourite wedding supplier for... bridal fashion
The showcase had us swooning over some seriously stylish suppliers, starting with The Mews. Their wedding dresses were nothing short of breathtaking, and whilst I’m keeping my dress plans firmly under wraps, their collection definitely got my head turning.
Maids to Measure
10. Maids to Measure
Favourite wedding supplier for... bridesmaids fashion
For bridesmaids, Maids to Measure is an absolute dream. Suitable for the modern-day bride or a creature of convention who's keen to stick to wedding traditions, their mix-and-match styles are so chic. I loved the idea of my bridesmaids looking fabulous without sacrificing comfort so they can dance the night away into the Greek golden hour.
11. Amaia
Favourite wedding supplier for... flower girl & page boy outfits
Then, Amaia. Their page boy and flower girl outfits? Beyond adorable. Tiny bow ties, miniature dresses… it was almost too much cuteness to handle! We’ve always said our wedding would be adults-only (the logistics of a remote island made that decision for us), but those outfits made us seriously question our decision (and made us broody!).
The Wedding Present Company showroom
12. The Wedding Present Company
Favourite wedding supplier for... wedding registries
Setting up our gift list with The Wedding Present Company was a breeze. Their curated selection of homeware, bespoke funds, and unique keepsakes meant we could include meaningful gifts that truly reflect us as a couple. Prior to the event, we visited their showroom, enjoyed a glass of bubbly, and spent hours scanning away with the help of our wonderful gift list advisor, Lucy! We had an absolute field day selecting the most stunning items for our newly renovated home — from Matilda Goad lampshades to Le Creuset casserole pans — we’ve certainly given our guests a lot to choose from!
Attending the showcase not only gave us practical tips but also reignited our excitement for the planning journey. Every detail feels that much more refined now, and we can’t wait to see our wedding vision come to life in 2025!
